week 16, post 2

This class was one of my favorite classes I have taken at SJSU. I like how our professor gave us updates weekly and would always respond to our emails right away. Another thing I enjoyed about this class was the weekly posts. I thought it allowed me to express myself as well as communicate with other classmates even though we have never met in person. The thing I liked least about this class was the semester long project. I thought it was very difficult, even though I did well on it. I thought it was very time consuming and it was challenging to keep up with everything at first. I would recommend this class to other students and I already have done that. I thought this class was challenging enough but not impossible to pass or enjoy. Some of the people I have told to take this class are taking it next semester. Overall, I thought this class was great and I enjoyed taking it.

  1. Hello Simba!

I also surprisingly really enjoyed the blogs as well. At first it took me a while to get the hang of it but once I was able to do so I really enjoyed them. It gave me time to comment on what I learned without people knowing who I was. I think that it made me talk more openly about certain topics which I wouldn't had done before. It also alloyed me to see how other people were thinking and give feedback on what I thought.

I also recommended this class to many people because of everything that we got to learn :)

  2. I could not agree with you more that this conflict communication class was my favorite class at SJSU. Her reliability to responding to our emails was very beneficial to me as well. My favorite part was what you brought regarding her weekly updates. Those weekly updates kept me on track and were very helpful. I can see where you are coming from with the semester long project. It was difficult to continually stay up on that work and keep a time log. It was not my favorite part of this class but in the end it did help me learn a few things. Nice post!

  3. After reading your posts some things really stuck out in my mind as positive that came from this class. For example, the part of your post where you talked about how the blogs let you express yourself in a way that a class never has before. This is definitely true, and something that I really did enjoy about the class. Blogging each week is a lot of fun and really entertaining. Especially when we get positive feedback from our fellow students. This is the first time I have ever had to blog for a class and I really enjoyed it just like you talked about in your post.

  4. I also learned a lot in this class, however I'm actually posting to disagree with you. Where we vary is that I thoroughly enjoyed the semester long class project, however I found the blogging aspect of the class to be difficult for me. Possibly due to the fact that I have never written a blog, which I assume many of my classmates have not. And secondly, for a procrastinator like myself, the 12 hour waiting period in between posts bit me a fair number of times. In hindsight, that it is on me for not staying on top of the deadlines, but im just voicing my opinion.
